Analytics

WikiPeptide uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised usage data. GA4 is only activated after you explicitly accept cookies via the consent banner. If you decline or have not yet made a choice, no analytics scripts are loaded and no data is sent to Google.

What data is collected

When you accept analytics, Google Analytics collects the following categories of data:

No names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information are collected. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage.

How to opt out

Data sharing

No personal data is sold or shared with third parties. Aggregated, anonymised analytics data is processed by Google under their standard data processing terms. WikiPeptide does not use any advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking scripts.

Cookies

WikiPeptide stores a single entry in your browser's localStorage (cookie_consent) to remember your analytics preference. This is not a cookie and is not transmitted to any server. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may set its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*) on your device, governed by Google's privacy policy.
